On the TV in four taps

Your iPhone or iPad and TV should be on the same Wi-Fi network for automatic discovery.

Connect to a TV

  1. Open Caster and tap Choose a TV.
  2. Select the TV, then choose Allow on the television.
  3. Drag the crop handles around the part you want to show.
  4. Tap Start Casting and confirm Apple's broadcast panel.

TV not appearing?

Open thecaster.co.uk in the TV's web browser. It will show a six-digit code. In Caster, choose the code option, enter the number, then approve the phone on the TV.

Still stuck?

Restart Caster and the TV receiver, temporarily turn off any VPN, and check both devices are on the same Wi-Fi. Chromecast discovery and screen broadcasting must be tested on a physical iPhone or iPad, not the simulator.
